Alarming as the title is, you would be forgiven for perceiving this as a vague threat.

Remember, You Will Die eventuated as a result of my efforts to reinvent Memento Mori symbolism. I toyed with many ideas from the expected (skulls, roses, books) to the unconventional (stop signs, clocks without hands, broken bicycles).

A thought occurred to me while I was working in the studio with my peers; this massive room would be empty if it weren't for the people filling it. We were all spectres of life, filling empty space. Is the opposite true of the spectre of death, herself filled with empty space?

Hence Remember, You Will Die.
