Each year, our school hosts a birds of prey incursion, giving students and staff the chance to interact with hawks, owls, and even an eagle. Among these incredible creatures, one snowy owl stood out to me, sparking an inexplicable desire to capture its image.

I became engrossed in this piece, spending a considerable amount of time focusing on the finer details, almost as if I were under the owl's spell. It felt as though the snowy owl possessed a subtle power of suggestion, guiding my hand in ways I wasn’t entirely aware of.
